Vista - I can connect my router but not the internet

I have been all over the internet looking for a solution so maybe someone on here xcan think of something i havent already done.

I got a new laptop and it is wireless enabled. I plugged my router and everything up and the whole set up was smooth until the last part which was connecting to the internet. It is saying i have limited access but wont let me on at all (on the laptop)

every time i start again it says that m LAN 5 has been disconnected but the PC uses LAN 3

Im really beginning to pull my hair out now!

Please someone help me

What is the brand name/model of your router? Also are you on DSL/cable? Are you tryin to get to the internet with the laptop via wireless or wired to the router?.

The router should have an internet port on the back of it which is where you plug your DSL or cable into. Once that is done unplug power cord from router and dsl/cable modem then power up the dsl/cable then power on the router. The router should then grab the info from the dsl/cable and router should be ready for internet usage.

At this point try connection your laptop to the router via Wireless. Should work. Let us know. Thanks

sometimes i reset my router....and my connection is full but i cant access the webpage
