i have recently aquired a HP laptop with Vista business x64. I have a Belkin G+ router hard wired to a PC and use the wireless laptop around the house. Since setting everything up, even though I get a strong signal, I have had great difficulty obtaining an internet connection via the laptop, about 50% of the time I get the message "website unavailable because you are offline". I clear the offline box and it does it again and again until it connects. HP technical help have done a few things including downloading a BIOS update, but I still have the problem. The PC always connects using XP Pro
It's driving me bonkers and I have little confidence in HP's techies.
I am running free AVG anti virus and every thing else in the windows security center is o/k. Can anyone help?
