FSecure removed from programs

Hi
I received a warning "Problem with Fsecure settings Windows will check and close the program" then it removed the program from my laptop. I use the same broadband for my XP PC and it works perfectly. I have been using the program without any problem for the past 6 months. I have installed a Cannon printer two weeks ago, apart from that I haven't done any changes to my laptop. I tried system restore to a previous date and it worked for a day and then I received same warning and F Secure stopped again when I checked the programs I couldn't see F Secure. I am not sure this is due to Microsoft,Vista or F Secure. I do not think this is F Secure problem because it is working on my PC. Could some one tell me whether this happened to you or it is a one off  . Any help appreciated. Thank You.

Hi
I received a warning "F Secure settings & statistics has stopped working", when I expanded the problem details the following appeared:
Problem event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: FSM32.EXE
Fault Module Name:fsmuiav.dll
I do not understand what these message and after a while my anti virus program Fsecure disappears and I am worried that my laptop may be unprotected. Could some one tell me how I can over come this problem, BTW I tried system restore but it didn't do any good. Any help is more than welcome, Thank you in advance.
