| Vista Enterprise 32-bit | Shares disappear after rebooting I have a machine running Vista Enterprise 32-bit. I use advanced sharing to share out a folder. Everything works fine. But every time I reboot the machine, the share disappears. This happens to two of my machines. One is a laptop that is part of a domain, which I take to and from work (there is no domain at home). The other is a desktop that is not part of a domain. The problem happens on both machines. And it happens on the laptop whether or not I'm connected to my work domain or my home network. I've tried setting permissions to everyone-full control or read-only. I'm about to create a startup batch file using net share command... Any ideas why the shares go away on reboot? |
