| Vista Ultimate x64 | Doesnt say Im connected to home LAN.. but I am Title says it, I plug in my ethernet cord into my laptop and am able to use the internet, however It says im not connected to any networks and I cant access any other computers on my network. Once I unplug then replug the cord a number of times, IT finally recognizes the LAN and It shows im connected... What could be the problem?? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Doesnt say Im connected to home LAN.. but I am I've had that issue alot, usually it will say that i have no connectivity, but everything will run just fine. What i've found to be happening is that vista is trying to "identify" the network you're on and any change to the network, even the slightest will make it kinda go crazy for awhile. On a more positive note, i haven't seen this happen as much since i installed SP1, so mabye they fixed it....? |
