Open links in new tab

How can you make it so clicking on a link opens a new tab, not a new window?

Re: Open links in new tab

Hi eknirb,

In Option One step 5 in this tutorial, make sure that you have The current tab or window checked under the Open links from other programs in section.

Internet Explorer - Tabbed Browsing

Re: Open links in new tab

hold down the ctrl button and then click the link...it will open in a new tab and not another window. while we are on this....
ctrl+t opens a blank tab
ctrl+w closes the tab open
