| Vista Ultimate 32bit | Vista don't want to connect to FTP sites I tried multiple ftp sites can't seem to connect from Vista using IE7. I tried from an Windows XP PC using IE7 and that works fine. The browser always reports "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" One site I can't connect to: ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/dg834gt_1_02_14.img I already tried the "Windows6.0-KB932562-x86" bug fix and it does not resolve the problem anymore. In January I installed this bug fix and afterwards I could connect to ftp sites again. Then at some stage it stopped. Now even after re-installing the bugfix it still doesn't solve the problem. I suspect it stopped working after a certain automatic update took place. Also I ticked "Use Passive FTP" on the Internet Options: Advanced tab. Any ideas or help? It seems like some people don't have this problem. |
