IE Stopped Working !!!

    IE Stopped Working !!!

    I keep getting a window telling me that internet explorer has stopped working and then closes all my programs and I have to start over. This used to happen only every once in a while but now it happens everytime I try to close a program. I then have to start all over with the programs I had running. Can someone advise me on this?

    You're not using any Symantec (norton) products are you?
    They have been causing problems for some.

    Hi Randy,

    You may have a bad IE Add-on installed that is causing this. This tutorial will show you how to check and fix the problem by resetting IE if this is the case.

    Internet Explorer - Reset

    Shawn,

    I appreciate your advice on this matter. I reset everything like you said and the problem seems to be cleared up. It just took me a while to get all my passwords set back up but it was worth it. Thanks a lot !!
