I have an HP dv6000t Vista x32 laptop.
Using a Belkin Draft N F5D8073 Expresscard adapter.
Access point is a Trendnet TEW-633GR Wireless Draft N router on a custom Vista x64 Intel Quadcore SP1 machine.

I have nothing but good things to say about them.
The Trendnet replaced my faithful workhorse Linksys WRT54G V2.0 OpenWRT firmware router. It slam dunked the Linksys in G mode for distance and throughput.

In Draft N @ 18 feet through one wall I maintain a 300mbps connection with the Trendnet & Belkin combo.

I tried the Linksys WEC600N Expresscard . Ugh! It was slow, short ranged and unstable in connection speed. It gets really hot and craps out. Took it back at $90.00, and got a wally-world Belkin under $50.00. The price range is most likely the Linksys is a dual band.

The Belkin runs cooler and is very stable.

Remember to disable Iternal Adapters and WAN ports in device manager when using the Expresscard adapter to avoid Vista reserving bandwidth or resources for them.

All tests were monitored using trial version WirelessMon.
