| 32 | sharing accounting software I want to have my business accounting package on both my desktop and laptop.To install it on the laptop I have to do a netinstall from program files on desktop,however eventhough I have shared my C drive it will not allow me access to any folders other than "public".My laptop is running XP Pro. This worked fine when both pcs were XP. |

Its because Simple File Sharing is enabled under Folder Options on XP if you disable the entry then reboot you should be prompted for a username/password once your logged on you should have no problems accessing the other shared folders. dmex |
