Vista - Disconnects suddenly & reboot is needed to resume!!

Hi there,

I have Vista x64 Ultimate & Netgear DM111 modem which connects throuh PPPOE, but just recently iv noticed it suddenly & frequently disconnects & when it redials, all i cud get is an error ''TCP/IP CP reported Error 31'' along with TCP/IPv6 reported error 733'' but when i boot its all OK, it happens only when i disconnect like for eg: when the power cuts or if im not sure even when i use utorrent & when it consumes 100% of network etc.

ive even unchecked ''Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power''

Not sure why this is happening, i have no problem in rebooting & everythings back to normal, but its an hindrance everytime rebooting!!

Try to reset TCP/IP:
Command prompt
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Reboot

Sure will try that but is there any other way either than rebooting or i guess reseting & booting it once will solve the problem, apparently whenever i reboot, my net is back to normal.

It should work fine after one reboot as the TCP/IP reset could affect the registry.

Resetted wit those commands, rebooted, manually swited off & on the modem & it reconnected witout any problems

the problem still exists, i think it disconnects when my utorrent uses 100% of network but thats just a guess, have no idea why this happens again & again!!

My modem is netgear dm111
