Vista - Network wont show up

My school has a thing where i can connect to my school account through my computer. I have connected to it with my old XP computer. But when i tried to connect with Vista it just says that the folder isnt valid. I know this isnt true because i have connected to it already. Does anyone know what i can do?

I have already checked numerous times that i have typed it correctly.

Your question is not clear, what do connect to what folder. how do you connect, you need to give more info to help you on this.

There is also a mini-lesson type thing that they have for users that have vista... i tried to follow that.... did everything ... then they say to follow the XP instructions... I did every thing and still nothing.

I am trying to connect to my school account.... its just like a folder on the server.

I still dont get how you are connectiong to the school server is it through a WEB protal or VPN or are you connect to the LAN. Please be more discriptive and tell us how your connect wth the scholl and what is the error that you get when you try to connect.

The error message i get says:
The folder you are trying to access appears to be invaild.

I know this is wrong because it works on the XP

Thanks, so your conntecting via HTTP, well you can try this out, on your vista pc go to control panel, select clasic mode, then select user accounts, over there on the far left of your scree you should see something as manage network passwords, click on that, then say add. then make sure you have selected A web site program, add your username and password. after that try access the web page. you should get in.
