USB (Wired) Network Card?

I have an old USB wired (Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6, ethernet, LAN, NIC...) network card, but ever since I installed 64-bit Vista Ultimate, I can't find any products with drivers for the OS.

Has anyone had any luck with a USB network card on Vista x64?

In advance,
1. Yes, I need x64 to break the RAM barrier on this computer.
2. It's a laptop, and I don't need more cards to remove when I undock it.
3. Two networks at a university: one from the school with autherntication, and the other goes to my small in-room network.

Hi Travis,

You could check the manufacturer for a device driver otherwise you will need the internet on that machine to get the driver from Windows Update...

I've tried Windows Update. This is a secondary NIC.

I am just looking for any USB Wired Ethernet Card that works. I've given up on finding any drivers for the chipset in the device, or the device itself, that I used with XP.

ADMtek USBLAN352628053

That's the most I can get out of it. It says USBLAN352628053 on a small barcode on the bottom. Physical discription: Small USB Stick, translucent blue case.

Again, if you know of any USB to ethernet solution that works, I'd gladly buy it.

Hey Travis,

It looks like ADMtek went out of business years ago so its a good idea to grab a new adapter because you wont get support or driver updates anytime in the future..

I checked out some USB-Ethernet adapters and found this one to be good, It has Vista compatible drivers in the downloads section and says it supports it in the user-manual and tech documents, Im not sure if it supports Vista 64bit but if you dont use that then this one should work great.

Retails for about $30US and even cheaper if you use the green "buy now" link

No, I said in the first post that I use 64-bit. In the driver version info of the second (latest) version of the Linksys USB200M, it states the Vista driver is for 32-bit Windows only. :-(

Any other ideas?

Nope, sorry Travis I dont know any USB-2-Ethernet adapters that work with 64bit, Just make some calls to each company and find out if they have any adapters that do and im sure at least one of them does.
