File Transfer

Hi;
Running XP pro on Dell 8100. Purchased HP machine running Vista Home Premium X64.
Wanted to transfer files to and from so I purchased Detto Intellimover 4.5 specifically to use the "individual" file transfer utility which is part of the software program.
Package contains great crossover cable and software BUT Detto individual file transfer utility (I'm told by Company Rep.) will not operate with Vista x64! Total file transfer is OK. Any suggestions on software alternatives for use with the cable?
Thank you for any comments.
Vant

Hi Vant,

I hope you know you can transfer files without extra software? Windows has been able to transfer files between computers since 1994 with its built-in networking and it works between any Operating System be it XP, 2000, Win98, Linux or OSX and more plus its easy to setup with Vista...

Do you need this extra software for something important that prevents you from using the built-in networking?
