| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | File sharing between XP, Vista and OS X on a local network Any one else faced with this prospect? Yesterday I brought my new quad pro Windows Vista 64 machine home only to find out, it couldn't see any of the other computers on my network. I've been using Windows XP print and file sharing up until now. It would connect all my machines including an iMac. The only exception was Fedora, a variant of Linux. I was just wondering if any of you had experience connecting various OS's to a LAN. I don't want to do anything complicated, just print and file sharing. I found this reference, but just wondered what any of the rest of you might be doing. http://www.cnet.com.au/desktops/0,23...9289508,00.htm (This reference sounds complicated. I'm not that technical and have never done anything with the registry!) You help is appreciated. vcbacon |
