| vista home premium 64 bit | vista 64 bit wireless problem Newly installed Vista home premium sp1 64 bit Realtek RTL 8185 wireless network card belkin g plus mimo model f5d9230-4 wireless router router and networks card are vista 64 compatible and correct drivers installed My card sees my network but cant connect and cant obtain a ip num i disabled wpa security on router i get limited connection no ip number tried almost everything in the book including disabling ip v6, registry edit, change settings nothing seems to work any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks in advance |

| Vista x64 | Re: vista 64 bit wireless problem I had issue where Vista 64bit could see the SSId with strong connection, but could not connect...got error message that access point not responding, but I was connected on 2 other machines running XP. I read through several forums and decided to log into my NetGear WG632 router and use 'g only' instead of both b and g, then set authentication to Automatic from Shared...also updated firmware on router.... voila! Vista connected. |
