Back Button Issue

Just got a new laptop with Vista Home Premium 32 bit. When I am in IE and I start to got into a link several layers deep, when I click the Back Button to back up one link, it always takes me back to the root link.

Example: I go to CNN.com , then click sports, then click a sports story. When I hit the Back Button to go back to the sports link, the BAck Button takes me all the way back to CNN.com.

Suggestions????

Try resetting Internet Explorer to it's defaults:
  1. Click "Tools", select "Internet Options"
  2. Go to "Advanced"
  3. Click "Reset"
