Hi,

On my laptop I have Vista Home Premium 64bit.
After SP1 installation the system stopped to synchronize with my Windows Mobile (v6) devices (HTC mobile phone and HP palmtop).
Before installing the SP1 everything was OK.

On Microsoft website I found the information that it is known problem and the solution is to uninstall the Windows Mobile Device Center and than install it again (Windows Mobile Device Center does not connect to your Windows Mobile-based device after you install Windows Vista Service Pack 1).
Unfortunately it does not work in my computer.

I have checked all possible scenarios with turning off firewalls, antiviruses etc. - without success.
Both Mobile devices works OK - they synchronize perfectly with computers with XP on board.

Any help will be appreciated.

Greetings,
Tom

Cześć Tomek
I had the same problem with Vista Ultimate x64 and two HTC phones.
I did exactly what MS said on the link you wrote above and it works now perfect.

7Tomek7,
I'm in the same boat as you except i got my HTC Tilt to sync once last week, after a reboot of the pc and device, but havent had any luck since.

I really am starting to hate WMDC, as it doesn't tell you anything.

The reinstall thing does not work, and even stranger, it takes a really long time to uninstall and reinstall...Doest that happen to you?

Do you happen to be running NIS 2009?
