| Vista Home Premium | Internet/Wireless - Why can't i connect ? I recently had other problems with my personal notebook but now i have another issue i can't connect to the internet the diagnostics keeps telling me to reset or check and make sure everything is fine but im positive it is ; the other computer and notebook in my household has internet and is working fine ... Once again i'm wondering: 1). If there is any way i could do this myself; without having to call anyone in 2). any possible solutions |

| Win XP Pro / Win Vista Ultimate | Re: Internet/Wireless - Why can't i connect ? does it find the network at least? try a power cycle: turn off computer, router and modem. turn on modem, wait 30secs, then the router, wait 30secs, and then the computer. |

Try creating a new user and then logging out of your current user and logging in to the new user - if the Internet connection works as expected then it is probably a remnant of your malware issues. If not, then try running the following command from a CMD window: Code: SFC /SCANNOW |
