| vista home 32 | Password in Vista work group I have a windows network group built in Vista. I can see all three of the PCs in the network map and I can connect to them all. One of the PCs, However, keeps asking for a password when I try to connect to it from the other PCs. There is no password set on the PC and the password option under networking is turned off..Any ideas what could be up with this one PC? |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Password in Vista work group I'm also having this problem. Would definitely love input. I had my laptop and desktop networked just fine, desktop was running Vista Home Premium 32bit, laptop Vista Business 32bit. Put Vista Home Premium x64 on desktop, now when I try to access anything on the laptop, or visa versa, it asks for username and password. I never set one up and have no idea what it would be. I know this is for another place, but I also can't get my laptop to print on the printer hooked up to the desktop (I have everything set to share). Any help is much appreciated. |
