| Premium32 Ultimate32 Pro | Wireless Network Connection Ultimate, Premium, Pro & Home Installed new router and changed network name from mynet to MyNet. After signing on with new key I now have Mynet 2 under wireless network connection and in the system tray. Not causing any problems but this isn't what I wanted. On the other OSs how can I sign on with the new key and not get a second wireless network connection of MyNet 2 ? On Premium how can I get this back to mynet or MyNet (without the 2) ? Thanks for the help. |

Quote: from your list of connections using the Vista Wireless Connection manager.... I was able to make the necessary changes in the registry by deleting mynet entries and then changing MyNet 2 to MyNet. Maybe the correct method would be to delete the active "mynet" entry before disconnecting the original router??????????? |

Yup - see Vista Hands On #10: Manage wireless networks | Ed Bott’s Microsoft Report | ZDNet.com Sorry, guess I wasn't clear, I was able to delete them but this didn't help. When I signed back on, MyNet 2 was still there. |
