wireless networking hardware HP pavilion 6000

My wireless internet used to work and one day i turned my computer on and it
no longer worked. I have a HP pavillion dv6000 laptop, the switch for
wireless networking is on and when i click diagnose the problem it says
"This computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and
configured. Install wireless networking hardware and verify that the correct
drivers are loaded." Could somebody please help me fix this

Go to the device manager and see if your card or usb or what you use is installed.

it should show under network adapters in the device manager.
try also to disable it an enable the wireless adapter.
you can also try a system restore

I try in the device manager but the broadcom 802.11 does not appear nor any wireless adapter((
I did a full system restore and it work(blue light) until I turn the computer off. then nothing(orange light)again.
so I did another full system restore but this time nothing(orange light) again.
and when I click on HP Wireless Assistant , nothing happen!!! I click on repair, and after,still nothing.
wonder what a sledge hammer would do :sarc:

Did you ever find out what was wrong with your wireless adapter. I just got the same problem you hadddd. Plz help if you know what I can do. Thanks
