hi, where abouts do you get your history of websites that you have visited, i knew for windows xp but not for vista, im new to this, many thanks

They should be found in the following locations :

Have you looked in View->Explorer Bar->History?

Depending on which IE version you are using it should be located to the right of EDIT...

You'll have to bear with me as I don't use IE...try right clicking on an open part of the tool bar and see if those options are available in the context menu.
