Vista Network Connection

This is my first venture with Vista and my home network trying to acess to the internet with a wireless connection.

Senerio...
Vista Ultimate 32Bit, Cox cable business T-1 broadband connectivity, Linksys cable modem to a Linksys 8 port router, Linksys WAP54G Wireless Acess Point (30' away), 3 computers connected to the network plus 1 other work point if needed, "wired" (including this one), 2 of the computers running Win XP Pro and this one running the Vista, all works fine with all computers and has been for 6 months now...

My wireless network "Home1", WEP 64bit and secured, works just fine with my laptop and other wireless connections...

I installed a Linksys wireless WMP54G PCI Adapter to my Vista computer and it finds the Home1 network, the connection is "Excellant" but will only let me connect with limited acess only and no matter what I do it will not let me connect to the internet???

If I plug my "wired" connection back in to the computer, my connection status is perfect and all works just fine again!

what am I not doing here or missing to get this wireless connection to work properly? Any and all help will be fully appreciated!
