Vistax64 Keeps Dropping Wifi Connection

Hi. I had to get a new computer a few weeks ago after a terrible accident with my laptop which had been running vista 32 bit with no problems what so ever. The new computer has a built in a/b/g adapter that i believe is by realtek (8185), and is running vista 64 bit. My router is a linksys WRT150N.

My network connection drops seemingly randomly, sometimes staying connected for a few minutes, sometimes for hours. The only predictable thing about it, is that it will always drop when the computer is left alone long enough to sleep or pull up a screen saver, and it will always drop when there are more than a few pages loading at once or if there i have loaded multiple videos in a row, such as on youtube. Haha.. in fact it dropped while typing this post. The only way to get it back is to go disable then re-enable the adapter, at which point the connection will stay active for who knows how long again before dropping.

Any thoughts? Linksys of course has no drivers available for anything 64 bit, but I would like to upgrade my internal to a wireless N card. I just cant seem to find anything yet that supposedly plays well with vista 64 bit (home premium).

Thank you so much in advance for any assistance.

Make sure that you have the adapter power setting to maximum performance. It might be a problem with the network adapter going to a power save mode.
