Combine Network Adapters on NVIDIA MoBo

I have an NVIDIA MoBo (XFX MB-N790-IUL9 NFORCE 790 U) as well as a 9800GX2 Video Card. If I go in via NVIDIA Control Panel, then under NETWORKING/ADJUST TEAMING CONFIG, it has the option to "Combine My Network Adapters (recommended)". I do have two Network Adapters but a LAN Cable from one only to my Router/Modem. If I do the recommended, it immediately cuts the network out and even rebooting doesn't restore it. If I revert back to No Teaming, it all comes back on.

What am I missing to get this running?

Thanks
Kotuku

Re: Combine Network Adapters on NVIDIA MoBo

Try disabling the network connection in Control Panel\Network Connections then enabling it again.

Its normal for it to drop the connection while combining but it should bring it back up again.

Re: Combine Network Adapters on NVIDIA MoBo

Thanks I will try that, but I did reboot and I did try to make a connection via Network Connections.
I wondered if I needed to change the LAN cable from NIC0 to NIC1?

Re: Combine Network Adapters on NVIDIA MoBo

I found when I tried it I had to change the cable from port 2 to port 1, so changing it might be a good idea.
