Internet sharing not available (WMI corrupt)

Hi guys (FIRST POST!)
Anyway on friday i decided to move my 360 to my room from my router in which it's plugged into and use my laptop to wirelessly to connect to Xbox live (the laptop is the running system, ultimate x64) so i plugged my ethernet cable into the back of my laptop and went to the properties of my wireless connection then to the sharing tab and it came up with this message.

Windows cannot display the properties of this connection. The Windows management instrumentation (WMI) informations might be corrupted. To correct this, use the system restore to restore Windows to an earlier time.

I tried restoring my computer, didn't work. I tried repairing my WMI, didn't work.

I'm all out of ideas help me out here guys!
