| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Network drive access with Vista Backup The Vista backup wizard is requiring a login with user name and password to access a backup location on the network, but rejects the login with error message: "The network share could not be accessed for the following reason: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. (0x80070534) Please ensure that the network location is valid." Outside of the backup wizard files can be saved and retrieved from the backup location. The PC being backed up is running Vista Home Premium 64bit, the backup location computer is running Windows XP home edition. Please, can someone tell me how to resolve the mapping issue between the account names and security IDs or is there some other cause for the error message? |
