    XP and vista

    ok so i have a vista laptop and my brother has a xp desktop. back when i had a xp desktop we used to be able to play the same game against each other through the router. so my questions is does it not work with a xp and a vista or what?



    if there is a way to do this, any help would be nice =D

    Are you able to share files and printers on your network? It should work as long as you have everything set up correctly.

    Enable the network controller. Are you trying to connect thru a wired or wireless connection?

    What theme is that? Looks cool.

    i am on wireless and the theme is areo with graphite as the color full intensity i think

    How did you make the start bar look like OS X is what I meant.

    Did you enable fire sharing and discovery? Are you able to view files on your brothers computer and is he able to do the same?? Vista should pick up your brothers computer if he is sharing some sort of files. Your brother may need to enter a user name and password to gain access to your computer. There is a remember password option so that will not have to be done all the time as well. What is the workgroup his computer is on and yours? XP home defaults to MS HOME and XP PRO (and Vista) defaults to WORKGROUP.

    You should really be able to connect to each others computer with the game just as you did before.

    You can use this in the future to post just the window you want to post and not the whole desktop, to make the window easier to see.
