| vista home premium | one out of 5 computers won't print on network I am having a strange problem, I have a linksys wrt160n and a brother wireless all in one 7840w printer. The setup is 4 wired xp desktop computers and one vista laptop wireless. All of the computers have a ready indication on the printer except for one of the wired xp computers. After a reboot or install of the printer software the printer icon will show a ready status for exactly 10 minutes then it shows offline. I have put in the printer name and no change, I have also put in the ip address of the printer and that did work but the next day I was getting ip conflict on several of the other wired computers. anybody have any ideas? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: one out of 5 computers won't print on network Did you set the printers to static IP address? DHCP: 192.168.0.20 - 192.168.0.30 for your 5 computers Set the range on your DHCP server. Printer1: 192.168.0.100 |
