Intel PROSet Wireless !

HelloI have a problem that I cannot repair.

I am connected wireless to the Internet and my connection is good, my prowset wireless icon on my desktop has a red X running through the icon but I am connected. It say service connection failed ! Even though I am connected.

When I go to network and sharing Center it takes a while to open up and when it finally opens up I am unable to click on any of the options.

Even when I click on repair the X is still visible !

I have downloaded another PROSet wireless from Dell's website and I am unable to uninstall the one that I have it gets halfway through the uninstall installation and stops and do not advance.

Very complicated as you can see.

Your best bet is to drop the PROSet software and just let windows control your wireless connection. You'll actually gain more control that way.
