Vista - Can't download utorrent and other files

Hi I hope you can help me. I'm having trouble downloading files from the net. For example utorrent.

It'll give me the download window and i'll save the file (I've also tried run). It'll show the download meter and then nothing happens. The file is nowhere to be found.

Can you please help me. This seems to happen with a lot of files downloaded from the net. I don't have a problem with Limewire, that worked OK.

By default, uTorrent creates a folder named "Download" in the Documents folder. Look there.

thanks for the reply. I have checked my documents and can't dind any folder called downloads. It is not just utorrent that has done this but other downloads. I recently tried to download the charlatans album which was given away free but to no avail. It seems to download it, copy it and then not even tell me that a download has finished, it just seems to disappear.

If there's no "Download" folder in your Documents folder, then uTorrent didn't install properly. I would try installing the app as admin?

As for the rest of your dl problems, I (we) just don't have enough information to work with. Please go to your User CP and enter in all your system specs, in as much detail as you can.
