| vista home basic | Internet sharing I am trying to set up internet connection sharing. My host machine is running XP, and client running vista home basic. I have an usb modem connected to XP machine, then ethernet out to wireless router, and then vista laptop connected to router via wireless. The vista machine connects to router, and it also states on the netowrk connections that LAN on xp machine is connected, however on the vista machine it only connects as local only. I has this working a few weeks ago, and was able to connect to the internet with no problems, but since reinstalling both operating systems, i cant seem to get this working again. Please anyone out there can help, as i have been trying for days with no luck thank you all in advance |
