| Vista | Vista + Hp + Norton Hi, I've been trying to help a friend with a HP laptop to uninstall Norton Internet Security. As soon as the software is uninstalled, the WLAN wont work. Then I reset the computer to a previous configuration (yesterday) and the WLAN works fine again. Have done this 20+ times now, and I can't figure out whats wrong. Any ideas? AVG Free is now installed together with Norton. //towei |

| Vista Home Premium SP2 32bit / Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit | Re: Vista + Hp + Norton Did you make sure that Norton was fully removed, I believe there is a removal tool from their site to use as I believe it can be a pig to get rid of otherwise. I hope you haven't got both anti virus programs running as that can cause problems.  |

| Vista | Re: Vista + Hp + Norton I tried the Norton Removal Tool, with the same result. Actually both programs are running at the same time, since I don't want him to be online without protection. Is it recommended to uninstall AVG first, then run Norton Removal Tool and (if successful) install AVG? |
