Have to enter WEP key again at every reboot

Hi

Since earlier this week I have had to re-enter the WEP key to access my wireless network connection every time I re start my computer.

It's never happened before.

I installed a Window's Service Pack earlier this week as promtped by the necessary update alert I received. Maybe this has something to do with it.

It's very annoying though. Anyone able to help?

Thanks

Under network connections check to see if your network is saved- If it is not saved, It will require you to re-enter authentication everytime you try to connect.

ps- WEP is not very secure and can be quickly cracked with packet sniffers (i.e., Airsnort/Aircrack) freely available online. I suggest WPA-TKP encryption in conjuction with MAC filtering and disabling remote administration of your wireless router. Use both an alpha/numeric random key/router password as this makes it harder for brute force/dictionary attacks.
