Help: Wireless Connectivity

I just won a laptop at my work's x-mas party and have a heck of a time trying to connect the wireless. It's Vista obviously and this is my first time using this OS. Looks a bit different from my XP.

Laptop is a Vista Home Premium SP1. Router (WRK54G) is a bit older but still works fine.

First off I can connect to the internet with my XP laptop via Ethernet and wireless. The Vista can connect via Ethernet. Also, wireless when unencrypted but not when encrypted. I went into my router and copied the password. So I know I'm entering it in right. When I try to connect the error I get is "The wireless authentication settings on this computer do not match the requirements of the network". The router settings are all default with the exception of a password to access the router and encrypted the router.

These are the wireless security settings when I diagnose the problem.

Searched but maybe not hard enough. I got a headache now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
