Vista - Internet Problem-Unidentified Network!

I have a very bad problem

For the past 3 days my internet connection has been displaying "Unidentified Network" "Local Only" and the internet is not working, i have a D-Link DWA-552 Xtreme Desktop Adapter wireless card inside my computer. I bought this so that i can use wireless internet. My internet has been working fine for the past i dont know.. 4 months about. Something around that. All of a sudden now i have that issue. I contacted my ISP , they said to contact Gateway which is my computer manufacturer, they couldn't help either! so this is my last hope before i uninstall vista or completely try somthing else.. please don't make me do this! I really need help , if you read this forum please reply with any advice. Thank you!

Vista Home Premium
Router: Actiontec M1423WR
ISP: Verizon

Things I tried:
Rebooting router
System Restore to 5 days back
Reinstalling Wireless Adapter Driver and taking card out and back in
Cutting power off to computer for couple of minutes
