| Vista Home Premium x64 - SP1 | Bluetooth Gateway P6860 FX laptop with Vista Home Premium 64 installed. Trying to find a way to disable the Bluetooth at start up. There is no option within the Bluetooth settings and it doesn't show up under MSCONFIG. Anyone know how to keep it from loading at startup? I don't use it and don't plan on using it, however I do not want to delete it from the system. |

| Vista Home Premium x64 - SP1 | Re: Bluetooth Thanks for the response Roy. I Disabled the only Bluetooth reference I could find which was, "Bluetooth Support Service", restarted computer but it is still showing in the System Tray at startup. Odd thing is that the "Bluetooth Support Service" does not have a Description associated with it. The only other service that does not have a Description is the "Intel(R) Matrix Storage Event Monitor". Don't know how relevant that is though. Any other suggestions? Edit: Is it possible that it's integrated into the wireless settings somehow so that when the wireless loads it loads too? |
