Vista - local access only problem

I have a belkin 802.11 wirelgess g router. I'm not sure if its just not compatible with vista or what. I've had the thing for about a year and about two months ago got a new pc with vista. Now I get this problem at least once every two days. A bunch of unplugging and reset both my routers and pc fix it. So I hooked up my xp computer about 10 days ago and tested to see if I would get that error with it. No problem and then hooked my vista computer up to it. About 16 hours later got the same error. Is there some sort of settings I should go to in vista or is the router just not compatible with vista? I'd hate to buy a new router and have the same error.

You are not alone with this problem, The only answer that I have, that works for me is to re-enter your key for the adaptor this will give you peace until the next time that it happens.
I have 2 pc's and 2 lappys all running vista, one of the lappys is particulary prone to this problem, so I guess it is most likely down to the adaptor, in this case a fritz stick.
