hello everyone, i'm new to the forums, this site has the most logical information regarding anything vista that I've seen so far.
my problem:
I like to play online games. (no, i wont w00t or nub you to death)
I like to use my computer for more than just games, so i got vista 64 bit ultimate.
Ever since i installed 64bit, I've been dealing with tremendous lag every miniute, almost on the minute. i've seen quite a few posts on various sites and not a single solution that isnt covered with w00t's, nub's, lolsause and arguments about nothing... i'm not rich, i dont wanna risk destroying my computer because some joker thought it would be funny.
does anyone here have any idea on how to stop... whatever it is in vista that is searching for new networks every minute?
Thank you.
Kaz.
By the way, i'm connecting wirelessly using a linksys usb wireless n network adapter,
and everything worked perfectly using windows xp pro 32 bit version.
