Has anyone encountered a problem where the OS deletes the network adapter drivers? My PC will not recognize my network adapters even after I reinstall the drivers. I have gone so far as to install an external network device to connect to my wireless modem but if I reboot they all disappear. Looking for an answer and a solution to the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen a virus do this. Try a cheap network adapter and see if it stays. Any errors in the event viewer when it deletes?
