hi. good day. it's my first day here in the forums. i have a problem with my laptop, its an HP dv6000. it's my network adapter. for some reason, my pc has been unable to detect it anymore. it keeps saying the my WLAN is disabled. i've tried everything. BIOS, shutting down my laptop, switching the router on, device manager, but it just would not show up. i also cannot properly see it on the network and sharing center page. there is nothng there but my pc with a line linking it to the internet with an X in the middle, and a "Not Connected" heading.
i read somewhere here in the forums that a network adapter can "die." True? i have been using my laptop for about 3 years now, and it's the first time this has happened.
