Server 2003 Access

Using Home Premium connecting to Server 2003 - non domain. Workgroup is same for network pc's. Problem: User logs in with username and password which is the same on the server. however when server resource is accessed user is prompted to log in to server. When they provide their same credentials they work fine until they log off their pc. This means the pass-through authenication is not working. Is there a way to fix this or this by design? Any ideas would be great

Re: Server 2003 Access

Hi,

Another way to rectify this.
Go to control pannel/user accounts click manage user accounts, tab advanced and click manage passwords, Now add the server ip address, store the credential for authendication.

Let me know the result

Re: Server 2003 Access

I do not have the option available. Vista Home Premium does not allow for that, My only option is to create an account for the 2nd option loggin into a web site. I should have know Vista Home is just like XP Home. POS!
