Hi, i'm in university and the halls of residence I live in uses Multiple Networks for the internet. This often is very unreliable and the internet is slow. Is there any way I can improve my connection?

Are you connecting wireless? I am assuming so.
Are your drivers up to date for your wireless card? Can you move for a better signal?
Have you considered using an external antenna?

It's not a wireless connections. It's plugged into a port on the wall via ethernet cable so I can't move my computer.

Not really anything you can do to improve your schools internet connection. Unless you have the funds to donate an Extra T3 line to them.
