| Vista Business x64 | Access Denied Error on Vista Home Basic I have a Vista Ultimate computer that has a big drive that I use for sharing movies to a Vista Home Basic computer I use for an HTPC. The Home Basic computer sees the share fine and can access the movies, but sometimes after watching a movie I want to delete it. I get an access denied error you don't have sufficient privileges to delete this file. I have given the Home Basic computer user Administrator privileges and checked all the boxes concerning read, write, full access on the Ultimate computer, but still cannot delete files on the Ultimate computer from the Home Basic computer. I'm guessing this has to do with the dumbed down network user management in Home Basic but was just wondering if anyone knew for sure. |
