Vista - Asrock Instant boot causing internet dropping out on idle?

I am having a problem with my power saving options and my internet.

I currently have my power saving setup as using instant boot, since when the computer goes into power saving mode after 30mins, the screen turns off, as does the hard drive and also the cpu closes down and all fans switch off.

I like the idea of this power saving setup as we've taken to leaving the computer on all the time (as opposed to turning it off every night), but it has now become clear that when the computer goes into its power saving mode its also dropping the connection to my internet.

After suffering slow speeds I contacted my ISP who reported to me that I was having alot of disconnections, and after running Routerstats it shows that each my computer goes into power saving it loses the connection.

I have tried searching the internet, but found nothing that has helped. I currently have the network device set as unchecked for the option 'allow computer to turn off this device'.

Can anybody give me any idea's of how to resolve this please??? before I concede it wont work and switch to maximum performance and say goodbye to power saving
