Vista - Internet disconnenting after 2 minutes

I have a dlink wireless internet adapter. WDA 1320 and started acting up. It would connect to the router but on the internet. So I bought a new on WDA 2320. it worked for a little while and stated to have the same problem. this time when I boot my pc it will stay connect to the internet for about 2 mintues then disconnects. I have tried couple off things........
1. rollback on windows updates, that did not cause it.
2. Got mad and formated. did not help.
3. got a new neternet adpater.
4. try to update the drivers there were no new updaates.

Does you router use any form of security to connect to wirelessly either WEP or WPA? if not, that may be your culprit as your wireless adapter may be picking up other wireless routers nearby and tried to connect to the one who at the time, has a better signal or connectivity.

What brand is your router? What model, firmware and/or version?

Yes I have a WEP key. I dont have my card setup up to pick up a stronger signal. Its not the router because I am on my laptop using my home internet. My router is provided from verizon......The router is ActionTec.
