WiFi problems

have a wireless belkin N! vision router it is supposed to travel ""200 metres""
(i give it about 140m) but have an xbox 360 wireless adapter and the adapter isnot pivking up the WiFi signal and there less than 20m apart
so far i garthered that peopl say you can increase wifi by editing registry(dout it)
or there is a setting that you can change if so i have found these setting but i dont know what to change them to!

Wireless Mode > 11b+g+n
RX Buffer Num(1-256) > 256
TX Queue Len(1-1000) > 500
RTS Threshold (256-2347) > 256
Beacon Interval (20-1000) > 20 (milliseconds)
DTIM Interval (1-255) > 245
TX Chainmask> - 7
RX Chainmask> - 7


im completley lost any one ?
