What program is accessing my network?

Is there a program that can identify what program is accessing my network? I recently installed Bitmeter to keeps tabs on how much bandwidth I use as my ISP has begun putting a monty cap on usage.

Anyway I notice sometimes that when I'm not downloading or uploading that Bitmeter shows a lot of activity, like there's something in the background accessing the network. Is there a way to tell what is causing the activity?

Hello XDetoursX,

You can use to Resource Monitor to see what is currently using any network resources and more.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
