Torrents with internet

I have embarq and a vista i was wondering

Why does utorrent go so slow about 20kbs does this have something to do with embarq dsl? im trying to download stuff faster from website and most game websites like perfect world zuonline etc have torrents and i heard it was so much faster to download 2-4gb games with torrents can someone help me out?

Go to Options > Prefrences and check if anything is getting limited in there. If not test your speed @ speedtest.net.

What plan is your DSL?

this is my speed atm and i dunno what my package is its my dads bill

I know its kinda sad do i need to buy a better internet to get like 100kb or something?
